“ Waiter was amusing and friendly - .The food was so great! I got the pulled chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and a vegetable side and it came with corn bread so it all hit the spot! Have never heard of the place before today so stopped by and it was a quirky little place . Completely worth the visit and the pricing was very reasonable! Can't wait to bring more friends and have another visit! Oh and the wait for food was very very short. So overall seriously great ”
“ My husband and I stopped in the other day after an appointment in the area and I have to say that we were absolutely thrilled with everything! From the moment we walked in the doors to the moment we left we were treated like we were the only ones in the room! The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional at every level. The food was almost indescribable! We enjoyed the steak and ribs and they were the best ever! If I had anything at all to say that was remotely negative it would be that my steak was a tiny bit overcooked but that is probably because I like it still mooing rare and most places cook it a bit too long for me so I will be clearer in my communication next visit. Everything else was perfect. We loved it so much that we are making a special trip to Lewiston again today to get us some of their sensational ribs! We are planning our 25th anniversary and have decided that we will be hiring the Pit Bar & Grill to cater our event because of their exceptional service and their amazing menu! ”

“ Been wanting to go here for some time now and finally stopped in for dinner wife. Great attitide from our server on 6/2/22 which was working in the bar section. I had the brisket which was flavorful and tender broke apart with your fork and didn't even need the bbq sauce the had on the side which was also great flavor. The pulled pork was amazing especially when you mixed a bite of their mac n cheese with it which by itself was also an excellent side. Next time i go to The Pit i am definitely going after a full rack of ribs! Wish we tried this place sooner. ”

At the wedding, we got numerous compliments about the food from our guests. The portion sizes were generous and everyone was well fed. The bar service was great too. “ I'm a southerner, so I know good barbecue. They also seem to know good barbecue. The ribs are are terrifically smoked, the chicken is moist, the steaks are cooked to perfection, and the sides are delicious. We've had several get togethers and ordered from them bunches of times at work. This restaurant always delivers on quality of food and service. I would recommend them to anyone asking for a great place for dinner. ”
